To my Great Auntie Margaret; I will never forget you, or your kind, loving ways. The last time I saw you, I was 12 years old, and it was when my grandma (your sister) passed away. I have special memories of you visiting Grandma's house in Kincardine, and running up to you with my brother, Ben to give you huge hugs! I remember your dog, Oblio and one of your cats, Whisper. You were such a lover of animals, as am I. You were also a vegetarian and appreciated nature so very much as well as the beauty of this world we live in. I was born in Peel Memorial Hospital, where you worked as a psychiatric nurse for many years, and you retired only a couple of years before my birth. I pray that you rest in the sweetest peace, and you will be in my heart forever. You are a true inspiration to me. My mother told me that you loved to do yoga, and I hope you would be pleased that I am doing yoga now, and find it very relaxing and therapeutic. Much love, Alyssa xxo

Story shared: Cleaning the Sink

Back in the 70's, the parmesan cheese container was very similar to the Comet cleanser (in powder form) container. My Aunt Margaret was at our place and she was trying to help clean the house. We all laughed our heads off when we realized she had cleaned our bathroom sink with parmasan cheese rather than Comet. LMAO! This is one of my favorite memories of my aunt <3 xxx

Margaret Wall was my aunt and I have many fond memories of her. She was a lovely person ~ kind, unique, thoughtful and spiritual. Although I didn't have any contact with her in at least 10 years, and that was unfortunate, she was always my mom's (RIP) best friend. When I lived in Kincardine for a year after leaving my marriage, my mom and I had a lot of contact with her, and all of it was positive and fun. She would always play hide and seek with the kids, and seemed to have an endless supply of patience. I know that my second cousins, her grandchildren, adored her and I can certainly understand why. Rest well Auntie Margaret xxx
